Inspection records are created in many places: at the supplier, in the lab, at the machine, on site. The path behind them is the same.
Certificates, inspection reports, certificates of analysis and calibration records arrive by scanner, upload or photo from a mobile device, also as a saved email. Classification recognises the type and files the document in the quality workspace.
AI-OCR handles skewed scans and handwritten entries, the IDP agent pulls feature, measured value, unit, target, tolerance, gauge, inspector and batch. Every value carries its source location in the document.
Values outside tolerance and fields below your confidence threshold go into the review queue instead of quietly passing through. The reviewer decides, the workflow creates the corrective action, the audit center keeps the record.

Questions about quality control
No. Extraction reads layout and context instead of fixed coordinates. A certificate from a new supplier runs through the same flow as the familiar ones, with no setup.

AI-OCR reads handwriting and poor scans as well. Handwritten values usually carry a lower confidence value and can be routed to review on purpose.
From two sources. Many certificates state target and measured value themselves, so both are read. Otherwise you store target and tolerance per feature, and the workflow compares the extracted values against them.
The value does not quietly pass through. The document enters the review queue, the reviewer sees the source location in the original and decides, and the workflow turns that into a corrective action with an owner and a deadline.
