No. Claude uses PaperOffice's operations — PaperOffice itself does not run on Claude. Reading, extraction, search and embeddings run on our own GPUs, in our own data center in the EU. The same account works in our app, through our REST API and over MCP with other agent clients. Claude is one way in — through a connector verified by Anthropic.
They could build a connector. To replace PaperOffice, they would have to replicate all of it at once — the document system, the governed operations, storage choice, the hardware channel and the partner economics. And companies can switch models; their records stay put.
Launching one is easy; a connector is not an architecture. Behind ours run more than 300 governed operations, wired into permissions, workflows and audit. Every tool is labeled by its effect: read-only, write, or delete and send.
Then PaperOffice is still a complete document platform. If agents take over the interface, it is positioned to become infrastructure; if AI coding floods the market, it is designed to be the document backend behind it.
Customers choose: their own NAS or server over SFTP, encrypted with their own password — or our own data center in the European Union. Reading, extraction, search and embeddings run on our own GPUs, in our own data center in the EU. ISO/IEC 27001 certified (certificate under NDA); SOC 2 Type II in preparation.
