With SLA / Instant: a guaranteed start window when schedulable deadlines matter. Surcharges are multipliers on the job price and apply equally to all plans. The guarantee covers start — not completion.

Instant: Top lane — very near start window guaranteed. Optional credit surcharge as a multiplier on the job price — plan-independent. The guarantee covers start, not completion.
What is guaranteed
With SLA / Instant: a guaranteed start window (SLA-24h … SLA-1h or Instant) when schedulable deadlines matter. Best Effort can be often just as fast — but it is not guaranteed. Completion is not assured.
Included pages — how they are counted
What is a “page”?
Each document is counted by document pages — e.g. a 5-page PDF = 5 pages. For files without recognizable page structure (images, CAD, etc.) — except plain text files — each started megabyte counts as 1 page.
Page/MB rule
The higher value always applies: real page count or started MB of file size. A 1-page file of 6.5 MB counts as 7 pages. This keeps large files billed fairly.
Text files (Text-Direct)
For plain text files (e.g. TXT, MD, JSON, YAML, CSV, LOG) the text content counts: every 2,000 characters = 1 page (rounded up, at least 1 page). Example: 7,000 characters = 4 pages.
Inclusive quota
Every plan includes a page quota. Only pages beyond that quota are billed by AI-DMS tier — weighting vs. storage-only: Basic = 5×, Premium = 10×, Ultra = 20×. Binary storage (PaperOffice Cloud) is unlimited with no surcharge on all plans.

Do I pay per user with PaperOffice?
No. PaperOffice bills per processed page, not per named user. Invite as many team members as you like without license costs going up — you only pay for actual document processing.
How does billing work?
PaperOffice bills in credits, not per named user. Basic equals 2¢ per page; Premium and Ultra are in the table above. Partner terms are public.
What counts as a page?
One processed document page in the selected module. The exact counting rule (including the MB cap and text-direct) is in the inclusive-pages section on this page.
Is there a setup fee or minimum term?
There is no mandatory project onboarding. Plans start self-service; enterprise tiers run through Elite partners.
Do the same credits apply to API, app and MCP?
Yes. App, REST API and MCP use the same credit account and the same workspaces.
