Questions about phone access
Who can use phone access?
Only recipients of a workspace share with phone access enabled. They identify with their stored mobile number and a PIN.
What does the agent see?
Documents, metadata and permissions of the shared workspace, not the whole account. External shares allow reading, i.e. information and delivery, and optionally uploading; external parties cannot edit anything.
Do callers need an app?
No. Phone and PIN are enough. A share can even apply to the phone only, without app access.
How fast does the agent answer?
Speech is transcribed in real time, the answer comes with workspace knowledge and a natural voice – in one pass.
Can the agent send documents?
Yes. On request it starts audit-safe email delivery to the stored address, with PDF password and log.
What happens with a question the agent cannot answer?
It says so openly and invents nothing. It answers only from the shared workspace.
Is there an API?
Yes. Shares with phone access and the agent assignment per workspace are available via the REST API and in the MCP server.
