The Holded recipe in Operational sources reads sales orders, invoices, credit notes and products with your API key. The contacts provide the data for verification.
Add the source
Under Knowledge Base AI › Operational sources, choose the Holded connection and enter the key. The preview checks the connection, optionally with a reference number, then you save and sync.
Verify and answer
Set the verification methods, for example invoice number plus postal code. Website chat and phone agent then give the status of orders, invoices and credit notes.

Every call is a GET to the Holded API v2 with a path check. PaperOffice writes nothing to Holded.

PaperOffice stores the Holded key encrypted. No URL is needed.

With status open, paid, overdue, cancelled or credit note issued.

Orders with a tracking number become shipments in the mirror.
- Verification via contacts
Postal code, phone and e-mail come from the Holded contacts. PaperOffice also looks up the caller number there.

If an order is missing or older than 15 minutes, PaperOffice fetches it directly from Holded at verification.
- Sync on an interval
180 minutes by default, adjustable from 15 minutes to 7 days, plus Sync now.
- Preview before saving
The preview checks the connection, optionally with a reference number, before you save the source.

Holded stays as it is.
PaperOffice only reads and changes nothing in Holded. Customers see their invoice only after verification, and the mirror is kept in our own data center in the EU.

Questions about the Holded integration
Which data does PaperOffice read from Holded?
Sales orders, invoices, credit notes and products. The contacts provide postal code, phone and e-mail for verification. Orders with a tracking number become shipments.
What do I need for the setup?
An API key from Holded, created under Settings › Developers. No URL is needed. You add the source yourself in the web app under Knowledge Base AI › Operational sources.
Does PaperOffice write to Holded?
No. Operational sources write nothing to Holded, neither new nor changed data. Every call is a read-only GET.
Which status does the agent give?
The status of orders, invoices and credit notes. For invoices and credit notes that is open, paid, overdue, cancelled or credit note issued. If an order has a tracking number, it becomes a shipment in the mirror.
How current is the data?
The interval is 180 minutes by default and can be set from 15 minutes to 7 days. If an order is missing at verification or older than 15 minutes, PaperOffice fetches it directly from Holded.
Does the agent get the whole product catalog?
No. Each run brings the first page of 40 products, without continuation. You maintain prices for your agents in a price list in Operational sources.
Can my own AI clients access the Holded data via MCP?
No. Answers are available only in the website chat and on the phone after verification.
Which plan do I need?
You add the source with Knowledge Base AI from the Plus plan. Answers in the website chat or on the phone require Conversation AI from the Professional plan.
