Features
What it does
- In the Media Library, run the extraction on a PDF or image. PaperOffice AI reads supplier, invoice number, dates, net amount, VAT, total, currency and IBAN.
- Checks required fields (invoice number, date, supplier, total), that net plus VAT equals the total, that the due date is not before the invoice date, and the IBAN check digits.
- Warns about duplicates when the same invoice is already stored in your PaperOffice AI account.
- With WooCommerce (optional), each line item SKU is looked up in your shop. The plugin does not change your products.
- Anything that needs attention is listed in the attachment details. The file is also stored in the PaperOffice AI workspace you choose.
- Each file is processed once; a refresh only fetches the status, and a new extraction needs a confirmation.
Setup
Set up in a few steps
- Create a User token (po_ut_…) in PaperOffice AI under Account → API.
- When the plugin is available, install and activate it in WordPress.
- Go to Settings → PaperOffice AI, paste the token and save it.
- Choose a workspace and save it.
- In the Media Library (list view), start the extraction on a PDF or image and check the result in the attachment details.

Questions and answers
Where is my token stored?
In the WordPress options of your site. Only administrators can change it, and you can remove it in the settings. Deleting the plugin removes the token, the workspace setting and all stored results.
Who can start an extraction?
Administrators. An administrator can allow more roles in the plugin settings. Extractions use the token of the site.
When will the plugin be available?
The plugin is being prepared for the WordPress plugin directory. This page will be updated when it is listed. No specific plan is required. Usage is billed to your PaperOffice AI account as usual. Document processing (OCR, extraction, classification) runs on PaperOffice's own hardware in its own data center in Spain (EU), without external AI providers.
