Features
What it does
- In Gmail: open an email and choose which attachments to store. Small inline images such as signature logos are skipped automatically.
- In Google Drive: select one or more files and store them in PaperOffice AI.
- Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drawings are sent as PDF.
- The add-on reads an email only after you click a button, and in Drive only the files you open with it.
- In PaperOffice AI, OCR and document AI then make the documents searchable and extract key data such as invoice fields. Your workflows run as set up.
- Your API key is stored in your Google account for this add-on only.
Setup
Set up in a few steps
- Create a User token (po_ut_…) in PaperOffice AI under Account → API.
- When the add-on is available, install it from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
- Open the add-on settings and paste your token. You can set the workspace name there.
- In Gmail, open an email and store the attachments. In Drive, select files and store them.
- Check the documents in your PaperOffice AI workspace.

When will the add-on be available?
It is being prepared for the Marketplace. This page will be updated when it is listed.
Does the add-on send Google data anywhere else?
No. It does not send Google data elsewhere than to your PaperOffice AI account. Details are in the privacy policy at https://paperoffice.ai/en/privacy/#google-workspace .
Does it read my whole mailbox or Drive?
No. It reads only the email you open and the attachments you select, and in Drive only files that you explicitly open with the add-on. No specific plan is required. Usage is billed to your PaperOffice AI account as usual. Document processing (OCR, extraction, classification) runs on PaperOffice's own hardware in its own data center in Spain (EU), without external AI providers.
