Features
What it does
- Outlook add-in: open an email, choose "Store in PaperOffice" and select the attachments to store.
- Attached emails are stored as .eml files. Small inline images such as signature logos are skipped automatically.
- Teams app: choose files in Microsoft Teams and store them in your PaperOffice AI workspace.
- In PaperOffice AI, OCR and document AI then make the documents searchable and extract key data such as invoice fields. Your workflows run as set up.
- The add-in reads only the attachments you select, and only when you click the button.
- Your API key is stored only in your mailbox settings (Outlook) or in your Teams client (Teams) for this app.
Setup
Set up in a few steps
- Create a User token (po_ut_…) in PaperOffice AI under Account → API.
- When the apps are available, install the Outlook add-in or the Teams app.
- Open the settings of the app and paste your token. You can set the workspace name there.
- In Outlook, open an email and choose the attachments. In Teams, choose the files.
- Check the documents in your PaperOffice AI workspace.

Where do my attachments go?
Only to your own PaperOffice AI account. Details are in the privacy policy at https://paperoffice.ai/en/privacy/#third-party-apps .
Is my token shared with other users?
No. It is stored only for your own mailbox or Teams client. No specific plan is required. Usage is billed to your PaperOffice AI account as usual. Document processing (OCR, extraction, classification) runs on PaperOffice's own hardware in its own data center in Spain (EU), without external AI providers.
