What it does
- Adds a PaperOffice AI item view. Open an item and choose Extract next to a file.
- Reads supplier, invoice number, dates, net amount, VAT, total, currency and IBAN.
- Checks required fields, totals, dates, IBAN check digits and duplicates.
- Adds the result as an update on the item.
- Stores the file in the PaperOffice AI workspace you choose.
- Long jobs show a Refresh button instead of blocking.
Document processing (OCR, extraction, classification) runs on PaperOffice's own hardware in its own data center in Spain (EU), without external AI providers.
AI-generated results can contain errors. Please check important values.
Limits: files up to 80 MB; only files of the open item are read; the interface is English only in the first version. The app requests access to boards (read), files (read) and updates (write).
Setup
Set up in a few steps
- Add the PaperOffice AI item view to a board once the app is available.
- In PaperOffice AI, create a User token (po_ut_…) under Account → API.
- Open Settings in the item view, paste the token and choose a workspace.
- Open an item with a file and choose Extract.
- If the job is still running, choose Refresh a little later.

Questions and answers
Is the app available yet?
Not yet. The app is drafted in the monday.com developer center and not yet submitted. PaperOffice AI is an independent product and is not affiliated with monday.com.
Does it change my board data?
It only adds an update to the item you work on. Files are read from that item only.
What does it cost?
No specific plan is required. Usage is billed to your PaperOffice AI account as usual.
