What it does

• Select a record and choose Extract next to a PDF or image attachment.
• Reads the invoice: supplier, invoice number, dates, amounts and IBAN.
• Checks totals, dates, IBAN and duplicates.
• Writes a summary into a long text field you choose.
• Stores the document in the PaperOffice AI workspace you choose.
• Processes the same attachment only once unless you confirm a new run.

Document processing (OCR, extraction, classification) runs on PaperOffice's own hardware in its own data center in Spain (EU), without external AI providers.

Results are generated with AI and can contain errors. Please check important values.

Limits: PDF and image files up to 25 MB; writing the result needs permission to edit the result field.

How the connection works: Airtable extensions have no signed user identity. You paste your user token once; it is not stored in the base. The extension stores a connection token in the base instead. It works only for this base, can only start extractions and fetch results, expires after 30 days (renewable) and can be disconnected at any time in the extension, or centrally by deleting your user token in PaperOffice AI. Remaining risk: anyone who can open the extension in this base can start extractions with this connection until it expires or is disconnected. Connect only in bases whose collaborators you trust.
