Practical Guide Logistics and Transport

Signed delivery notes piling up in dispatch? Photographed at the consignee, already read in the office. This guide shows how drivers and warehouse staff capture delivery notes, CMR waybills and packing lists with the mobile app, and how PaperOffice files them per site, recognizes them and reads the shipment data, so your dispatch team reviews instead of retyping.

The file is available in English and German; you download the version in the language of this page. Free, no registration.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions about this download

Does PaperOffice replace our TMS?

No. Transport, dispatch and billing stay in your TMS. PaperOffice captures, reads and organizes the documents and delivers the fields by export or REST API.

What happens without a connection?

The app keeps the scan in a queue on the device. As soon as there is a connection again, it uploads the scan to the selected Workspace on its own.

Does PaperOffice recognize signatures and remarks?

With AI-DMS Ultra, handwriting, signatures and stamps that were found appear in the “Overview” tab. For a clear yes or no, add a field of type Boolean to the agent. Whether a remark is a reservation is decided by a person.
