Frequently asked questions about this download
How do I specify the place?
As a city with city, optionally with country, or as coordinates with lat and lon. For a visitor's location, use /ip2location/weather, optionally with a specific IP.
How can I tell how recent the values are?
The current block states in last_updated when the values were recorded, and location.localtime gives the local time. You can show both in your interface.
Is the weather available in Claude too?
Yes, through the MCP endpoint /mcp-full with the tools po_weather_by_city, po_weather_by_coordinates, po_weather_by_ip and po_weather_icons.
How is it billed?
By usage. Current prices are on the pricing page, and you can see your usage under “API & Developer › API Usage”.
