How handwriting recognition works
Handwriting is harder to read than print: letters are joined, vary in size and look different for every writer. PaperOffice's AI text recognition detects handwritten passages and reads them again in a separate refinement step.
Printed and handwritten text on the same page are recognized together, for example in filled-in forms or notes in the margin.

Limits
Very hasty writing, heavy crossing-out or historic scripts such as Kurrent and Sütterlin are particularly challenging. Check the result especially carefully in these cases.

Can I convert filled-in forms?
