JPG or PNG, 72, 150 or 300 dpi?
- JPG suits pages with photos and keeps files small. You set the quality yourself.
- PNG is lossless and keeps text and lines crisp, but the files get larger.
- 72 dpi is enough for an on-screen preview, 150 dpi for email and presentations, 300 dpi for print.
- An A4 page at 300 dpi becomes an image of 2480 × 3508 pixels.
Good to know
File names include the page number, for example contract_page-03.jpg. Very large pages, such as A0 plans, are limited to 40 megapixels per image so the browser can handle them. Up to 300 pages can be converted per run.

Questions about PDF to JPG
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your device.
Which resolution should I choose?
72 dpi is enough for screens, 150 dpi is a good default for email and presentations, and 300 dpi is right for print. Higher resolutions produce larger files.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Choose "Selection" and enter pages or ranges, for example 1-3, 5, 8-. "8-" means from page 8 to the end. Up to 300 pages can be converted per run.
How do I get the images?
A single page downloads directly as an image. For several pages you get a ZIP file with one image per page; you can also save single images straight from the preview.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Yes, if you know the password. Enter it right in the file list. PDFs that are only protected against editing or printing open without a password.
