Extract PDF pages

Take exactly the pages you need out of a PDF – as a new PDF or as separate files. The original file stays unchanged.

File stays on your device Single pages as a ZIP too

Extract PDF pages

Save selected pages as a new PDF – together or each page on its own.

Your files are processed directly in your browser and are not uploaded. They never leave your device.

How it works

Extract PDF pages in three steps

  1. Add a PDF

Drop a PDF file into the box or choose it. Every page appears as a thumbnail.

  2. Select pages

Click the pages you need or type page numbers such as 1-3, 7. If you like, every page becomes its own file.

  3. Extract and save

Click “Extract pages” and download the new PDF or the ZIP file.

Pull pages out of a PDF without uploading it

One new PDF or separate files

The selected pages go into a new PDF in their original order. Choose “Each page as its own PDF file” to get a ZIP file with one PDF per page instead.

Pages are taken over unchanged; nothing is recalculated or compressed. The original file on your device stays as it is.

Typical uses

  • Pass on the signed page of a contract separately
  • Pull a single invoice out of a combined document
  • Send only the relevant chapters of a report
  • Take out form pages to fill them in

Good to know

Links to pages that are not extracted are removed, so no content of other pages stays hidden in the new file. Bookmarks of the original are not carried over.

With batch scans full of documents, you don't have to pick pages by hand. The Split Agent in the AI-DMS detects document boundaries, then splits, names and files every document separately in the workspace.

  • Detects document boundaries even without separator sheets or barcodes
  • Attachments stay with their main document
  • Uncertain boundaries go to human review
  • Manually, in batch, in a workflow, via REST API and MCP
